About Ark Life

Our Mission

Ark Life exists to help ordinary people read the Bible carefully and see the world clearly — without hype, and without fear.

Ark Life is a Christian community living in anticipation of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. The name is Noah's. He was told that a flood was coming, and he believed it enough to start building — and everyone who walked into that ark walked in because they trusted the One who had spoken. We think that is still the shape of faith, and the way it is lived is what we call the Ark Life.

Just as Noah prepared for the flood, Scripture tells us to be ready for what it says is still ahead: to be born again, and to put our trust in Jesus, who is the ark now. That is the invitation behind everything on this site, and we would rather say it plainly at the top than leave you to find it.

What we do

Ark Life Ministries publishes Bible study, news, and answers for people who want more than a verse on a graphic. We write for the reader who is willing to sit with a passage for twenty minutes, and who would rather be told what a text actually says than be handed a conclusion.

Four things, and we try to do them properly rather than doing forty things badly: careful studies through books and people of the Bible, news read through a biblical lens without speculation, direct answers to the questions people actually ask, and longform features that take a subject seriously. Around them sit the things that carry a week rather than an hour — pastoral teaching, podcasts and devotionals on the Watch page, free guides and studies to work through, and the magazine.

Who we are

A small, family-run team, working out of a conviction that Scripture is worth the effort it asks of us. We are not a church and we are not a substitute for one; the best thing this site can do is send you back to the text and into a local congregation.

Wherever you are on the way — settled, unsure, or only curious — you are welcome here. Put your trust in Jesus, and live the Ark Life.

Ark Life is reader-supported. If the work is useful to you, giving is what keeps it free for everyone else.
